Charlie Richardson, senior energy underwriter at Lloyd’s coverholder GCube, is leaving the firm for Travelers.
After 11 years with the energy insurer, Richardson will be moving to Travelers head up its onshore renewable energy business.
In a post on LinkedIn, the long-serving underwriter said he will commence in his new role in late September.
At GCube Richardson was responsible for underwriting onshore wind, solar photovoltaics, concentrated solar power and hydropower portfolios.
Prior to GCube, he worked at renewable energy broking house Nsure from 2003 to 2007 as an account manager.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working at GCube for the last 11 years and I will miss the team there a great deal, however it is time for a new challenge and as such I will be joining Travelers to head up their onshore renewable energy offering with effect from 24th September 2018,” Richardson said.
“A big thanks to everyone that has supported me during my time at GCube and I look forward to working with you again in the future,” he added.
